Introduction

I’m going to use this blog to discuss One-Punch Man, because why not?  Right now I’ll start off mainly analyzing the chapters of Yusuke Murata’s Jump remake, making notes and comparing it to One’s original web comic, with notes on Viz's English translation where applicable.  If you don’t know what I’m babbling about, this probably isn’t the place for you.  Then once the anime adaptation starts up, I’ll compare that to both the Murata version and the original web comic.  Oh what fun we’ll have.

One’s original version is a web comic, and Murata’s version on Young Jump is also a web comic, which can make terminology a bit confusing.  So for the purpose of this blog, “Punch X” refers to chapters of the Murata remake, while “Chapter X” refers to chapters of One’s original.  Hopefully this will help somewhat, even though it’s pretty arbitrary.  Even One’s version uses “Punch X” (X撃目) at the top of the page for each chapter, although the main page numbers everything “Chapter X” (第X話).  But whatever.
